About me. Well, I really don’t want you to know much about me. That said, I will tell you that I am a college student in Mechanical Engineering. A student who is interested in many many things. The posts currently up on this site indicate I am obsessed with the iPod. This really isn’t true, though I do "cherish" my 5 GB 1st gen iPod (yeah, I was an early adopter – all you hip, trendy, people, which makes me super trendy, etc..). I am equally obsessed with anything that has a blinking light (LED), or is remotely of Italian design. I have an interest in Industrial Design (ID), though have no scholastic training in ID.
I do work at a great company, well, university. No, I am not a professor – the last thing I’d like to be is at the receiving end of my fellow students barbs. Plus I am not a very comfortable speaking in front of small-large groups of people.
Oh, and if you find me misusing words, please contact me, as I tend to do that sort of thing often. Sometimes I like the way a word sounds, and don’t really *know* what it means. However, if you see a word here you’ve never heard of, don’t worry. I tend to make up words as well, in much greater proportion to my misuse.
I like photography – enough to purchase a "slightly expensive camera." I purchased it to use it with a Canon Bellows. I’ve been using that setup for some time, and have been VERY PLEASED. I did not purchase it exclusively for macro work, but that was one of the intended uses when I bought the 20D.
About the site. Well, the domain stems from, well, I cannot give it’s origins away. Trust me on that one – it’s a long story, and may never ever be revealed.
However, the purpose of this site will evolve over time. I’m not too sure if I want to create a traditional blog (Instapundit, IMAO, Powerline Blog), or if I want to create a web site that is easily updateable. The latter was my original intention, and may be where it settles. I do wish, however, to feature my photography (for sale, of course), projects, interests (no, NOT just the iPod), photoshopped images, flash stuff if I ever get around to it, PERHAPS some math stuff, and short cheesy stories (they may be Apple related).
Design of the site. This is not only my first foray into a blog format, but css, php, and asp. I know asp and html well – enough to learn from online guides if I get stuck. I’m not totally happy about the color scheme, but will let it stand for now. OF COURSE it must be green, the color of money.
The site will always be in development. I’m not too sure if some of the side contents need to stay or not.
